We rely on donations from individuals, congregations, schools, businesses and civic groups to keep our shelves stocked. In fact, more than 95 percent of what we distribute to those in need has been donated to us.
Please consider holding a food drive at any time throughout the year to help Bethany House Academy. In addition to the following items, toilet paper, toothpaste and other toiletries are always needed and appreciated.
Food Of the Month
▪ January – Soup
▪ February – Canned tuna, Meal-in-a-Box and Tuna/Hamburger Helper
▪ March – Crackers
▪ April – Canned fruit
▪ May – Fruit juice
▪ June – Canned pasta (ravioli, lasagna, etc.)
▪ July – Pasta (1 pound preferred) and sauce
▪ August – Peanut butter, jelly and school snacks
▪ September – Cereal
▪ October – Instant stuffing, instant mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce
▪ November – Pie crust and easy pumpkin pie mix
▪ December – Rice and rice mixes
In-Kind Items of the Month
Please help us use our limited resources wisely and with excellent stewardship by donating any of the following.

▪ June – New large backpacks and school supplies appropriate for all ages

▪ September – Gently worn, clean winter coats or new coats!
▪ October – Thanksgiving dinners and grocery store gift cards
▪ November – New gifts appropriate for preschool and teenagers
